2017 Google My Business Feature Changes

There’s no doubt about the fact that Google is largely responsible for helping users discover local products and services they need. As the number of individuals relying on Google to find answers increases steadily, businesses have no choice but to embrace the Google My Business tool to manage their online presence in a seamless manner, free of cost!

While aiming for the top spot in the Search Results page is every business’ strategy, getting noticed by potential customers involves much more than working on local search engine optimization. With a Google My Business listing that is complete, verified, and optimized, you get to be seen by and connect with your target customers in numerous ways. Putting your business in front of scores of potential customers with a GMB listing not only allows them easy access to your business location, website, phone number, and hours of operation, but also lets them know your review ratings and busiest hours.

In addition to this, with the new Google My Business features rolled out in 2017, you can tell so much more about your business to customers- like payment methods you accept, whether or not your restaurant serves kosher food, or if you sell new or pre-owned vehicles. There’s also the option to add menu tabs, reservation answer boxes, or links to book appointments!
